Board Change

Savannah Energy PLC, the African-focused British independent energy company sustainably developing high quality, high potential energy projects in Nigeria and Niger, announces that, as a result of the Company's growth in recent years and the planned significant further expansion, the decision has been taken to restructure the finance function of the Company. As a result, Ms Isatou Semega-Janneh has left, and ceased to be a Director of, the Company.

Pending the appointment of a new Group CFO, Mr Nick Beattie, Deputy CFO, will oversee the finance function of the Company in an interim (non-Board) capacity. The half-year results of the Company will be released as scheduled in late September 2021.
