Greg has 20 years' experience in the North East commercial property industry and has worked on projects including the 580,000 sq ft HMRC North East Regional Hub, Newcastle Helix and Milburngate in Durham.

Ray Minto, director and head of development at Savills in Newcastle, comments: "This is a significant appointment which will further strengthen the expertise provided by our 41-strong team in Newcastle whilst also adding office agency to the services we are able to offer our clients. Greg's reputation in the industry precedes him and we are thrilled to have him on board."

The Savills Newcastle provides property services across a range of areas including planning, development, investment, industrial, rural management, property management, architecture and building surveying, rural professional, forestry and food and farming.

Greg adds: "It's an incredibly exciting time to be joining Savills and I am looking forward to building on the success that the team has had to date. The challenges presented by the global pandemic has led to a rethink of the way we approach mixed use development which presents some real opportunities across the North East and Yorkshire and I am looking forward to getting stuck in to this new challenge."

In addition to Greg's appointment, Savills Newcastle has recently expanded further with the appointment of Emma Young who has joined the property management team as a graduate surveyor, Oliver Bartles-Smith who has joined as a graduate surveyor working across the investment and industrial teams and Joey Dunn who has joined the rural management team.
