LONDON, Sept 5 (Reuters) -
* Russia's largest lender Sberbank expects funds deposited by individual clients to rise by 3.5% in 2022, Interfax news agency reported the bank's first deputy chairman, Kirill Tsarev, as saying.
* Individual deposits rose by more than 300 billion roubles ($4.9 billion) in July, Tsarev said.
* Tsarev said that Sberbank had increased its retail lending portfolio by 5.1% since the start of 2022, with growth driven by mortgages and credit cards.
* Tsarev said the volume of consumer loans issued in August was the highest since the start of the year.
