Cecilia Steen has worked as a consultant for Enviro since December 2021, and from March 1st, 2022, she is permanently employed as Process Engineer. Cecilia previously worked with quality control at Nyna's refinery and at Enviro she will focus on optimizing the company's process for industrial production of recycled materials of high and consistent quality.

"My focus is on how our pyrolysis process and after-treatment affects the quality of the recovered materials, both the oil and the carbon black. During my career, I have been very interested in the transition to greener alternatives in both materials and fuels, so being part of and contributing to Enviro's journey towards a circular economy in the tyre and rubber industry is very rewarding", says Cecilia Steen, Process Engineer at Enviro.

Cecilia Steen is a trained chemical engineer and has a master's degree in innovative and sustainable chemical technology from Chalmers University of Technology. At Enviro, she has an important role in ensuring high quality of the recovered materials.

"It is in the industry that the biggest changes need to take place for the green transition to be able to accelerate, and that we as a relatively small company can make a big difference is inspiring. It was an easy decision when I was offered to become a full-time employee, says Cecilia Steen.

"We continue to optimize Enviro's process for industrial production of recovered materials of high and consistent quality. Cecilia's experience from, among others, Nyna's laboratory strengthens our team when it comes to process and material quality for current and future needs, and we are happy that she is a part of the team", says Thomas Sörensson, CEO at Enviro.
