Westfield Newmarket today announced nine international luxury retailers set to join the centre later this year; solidifying the flagship Living Centre as the 'home of luxury' for New Zealand.

Located at street level of the recently redeveloped Westfield Newmarket on Broadway, the luxury precinct will house a mix of new, first-to-New Zealand and first-to-portfolio retailers with the majority due to open before Christmas.

The line-up of international luxury retailers soon to join Westfield Newmarket, includes: Louis Vuitton, Moncler, Saint Laurent, Balenciaga, Alexander McQueen, Burberry, Partridge Jewellers, Jimmy Choo and Michael Kors, with further names to be announced.

Curated to cater to New Zealand's growing appetite for elevated retail experiences, Scentre Group Director of Leasing and Retail Solutions and Development NZ, John Papagiannis said the introduction of these brands represents a significant milestone for luxury retail in New Zealand:

'We're proud to be delivering this one-of-a-kind luxury retail experience, on a scale previously unseen in New Zealand.

'The introduction of these retailers represents the strength of the local customer and their desire for premium retail and brand experiences akin to the rest of the world.

'The new Westfield Newmarket luxury precinct will become a go-to destination for New Zealanders looking to connect and engage with some of the most sought-after luxury brands and we look forward to celebrating the first of many grand openings with our customers and retail partners later this year.'

The new retailers join Auckland's first David Jones and British luxury retailer Mulberry, which opened within the precinct in December 2020.
