Schaeffler India Limited reported unaudited earnings results for the second quarter and six months ended June 30, 2019. For the quarter, the company reported revenue from operations of INR 11,167.0 million compared to INR 11,002.6 million a year ago. Total income was INR 11,291.5 million compared to INR 11,294.4 million a year ago. Profit for the period was INR 824.8 million or INR 26.4 per basic share compared to INR 1,114.4 million or INR 35.6 per basic share a year ago.
For the six months, the company reported revenue from operations of INR 22,889.9 million compared to INR 21,837.3 million a year ago. Total income was INR 23,186.2 million compared to INR 22,351.3 million a year ago. The Industrial segment offers a portfolio of bearing solutions, ranging from high-speed and high-precision bearings with small diameters, to large-size bearings, several meters wide. The Exports & Others segment includes exports to group companies and scrap sales.
