SCHOLAR EDUCATION GROUP On 23 August 2019, the Board of Scholar Education Group has recommended an interim dividend of HKD 0.02 per share and an interim special dividend of HKD 0.04 per share, which amount to an aggregate of interim dividend of HKD 0.06 per share for the six months ended 30 June 2019, totaling HKD 11,114,000 and HKD 22,228,000, respectively. This interim dividend has not been recognised as liabilities in this interim financial information. The register of members of the Company will be closed from 9 September 2019 to 11 September 2019 (both days inclusive).
During this period, no transfer of shares will be registered. In order to qualify for the interim dividend and special dividend, all transfers of shares accompanied by the relevant share certificates must be lodged with the Company's share registrar in Hong Kong, Computershare Hong Kong Investor Services Limited at Shops 17121716, 17th Floor, Hopewell Centre, 183 Queen's Road East, Wanchai, Hong Kong not later than 4:30 p.m. on 6 September 2019. The interim dividend and special dividend are expected to be paid on or about 15 October 2019 to those shareholders on the register of members on 11 September 2019.
