Schottenstein Realty Trust, Inc. is an integrated, self-administered and self-managed owner, operator, acquirer and redeveloper of power/big box, community and neighborhood shopping centers in population centers throughout the United States predominantly anchored by national retailers. The Company derives revenue from rents and reimbursement payments received from tenants under existing leases at each of its existing properties. It generates 88.9% of its annualized base rent from national and regional tenants, such as American Signature, DSW, Bed, Bath & Beyond, Wal-Mart Stores, and TJX Companies and in addition, from providing management, leasing, and construction services to other parties. As of September 30, 2010, it owned interests in 156 operating properties in 27 states with approximately 21.6 million square feet of GLA, which are 92.4% occupied.
