Schroders Wealth Management is pleased to announce that its Asia business in Singapore and Hong Kong has once again been named 'Independent Wealth Manager of the Year' at the ninth annual WealthBriefing Asia awards 2021.

Jason Lai, CEO, Asia, Wealth Management, also received a leadership category award for 'Outstanding Contribution to the Wealth Management Industry (Pan-Asia)'.

Now in it's ninth year, the WealthBriefing Awards Asia aims to recognise organisations that stand apart from their peers and demonstrate that they combine relevant products and service with exceptional client experience. The awards showcase the top individual and institutional talent as well as rewarding entrepreneurship and innovation.

Claiming victory in this category for the second year running, Schroders continues to grow its established reputation throughout South-East Asia. By offering a strategic mix of institutional investment expertise and independent client advice across a multi-custodial platform, Schroders have been able to significantly grow the firm's engagement with family offices, charitable foundations and private clients across the region.

Jason Lai, Chief Executive of Schroders Wealth Management Asia, said:

'It's an honour to have been again endorsed by our Asian wealth management peers, as they continue to recognise our efforts in building a 'buy-side' wealth business that is client-focused and innovative with a distinct proposition. This award reaffirms our position of leadership in a fast growing Asian IAM industry. It also pays tribute to the team for their hard work and dedication, in a year that was challenging to most in so many ways.'
