Sea Oil Public Company Limited announced that with two phases of successful exploration drilling program in 2020, oil-discovery wells were put on tests and have now been put on production. Operated by Pan Orient Energy (Siam) Limited (POES, holding 50.01% working interest), Sea Oil Public Company ("the Company", holding 49.99% working interest) herewith reports the production after the 2020 completed exploration program as follows: All production data are in gross average value over the last 4 days after L53-AA2, L53-DD7 and L53-DD8 have been onstream. Total production averages 3,532 barrels per day (BOPD), considerably higher from 1,761 BOPD the average production in August. The big production jump comes from L53-AA2, L53-DD7 and L53-DD8. L53-AA2 well, drilled in February 2020, is currently producing at 100 BOPD with 82% water cut. The well is currently in the 90-day production test period. The well will be shut in after the test period for further evaluation for possible long-term production, and resume production after a new production area is granted. L53-DD7 well, drilled in August 2020 in the existing production area, is currently producing at 805 BOPD with an extremely low water cut of 1.4%. L53-DD8 well, drilled in July 2020 in the existing production area, is currently producing at 820 BOPD with an extremely low water cut of 1.0%. L53-BB1ST1 well, drilled in June-July 2020, is under a permanent abandonment after completion. The well was evaluated as a possible commercially producing well after drilling, however, the production rate was well below commerciality. Depending upon oil price, the capital program for the remaining of 2020 includes 1 water disposal well and probably 2 more exploration wells. Timing to be determined later. It is noted that Sea Oil Public Company and Pan Orient Energy (Siam) Limited have strictly complied with all the measures under the Emergency Decree and occupational health and safety practices advised by the Ministry of Public Health including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and facial mask and face shield, adoption of social distancing and limitation of travel and operate during the unapproved time.
