In connection with the filing of a registration statement on Form S-3 with the
Securities and Exchange Commission (the "SEC"), Seagen Inc. (the "Company") is
updating the risk factor disclosure contained in its prior public filings,
including the risk factor disclosure included under the heading "Item 1A. Risk
Factors" in the Company's Quarterly Report on Form 10-Q for the quarter ended
September 30, 2020, filed with the SEC on October 30, 2020, primarily as a
result of amendments to Item 105 of Regulation S-K adopted by the SEC which
became effective on December 9, 2020. The updated risk factor disclosure is
filed herewith as Exhibit 99.1 and is incorporated herein by reference.
