Sealed Air Corporation announced earnings results for the second quarter ended June 30, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was USD 1,328.5 million compared to USD 1,151.2 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 196.9 million compared to USD 186 million a year ago. Net income was USD 108.1 million compared to USD 100.1 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was USD 0.71 compared to USD 0.64 a year ago. For the half year, sales was USD 2,595.6 million compared to USD 2,325.1 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 399.4 million compared to USD 372.8 million a year ago. Net income was USD 218.2 million compared to USD 226.7 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share was USD 1.43 compared to USD 1.46 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share was USD 1.42 compared to USD 1.46 a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.4 compared to USD 1.38 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.39 compared to USD 1.38 a year ago.
