According to online gazetteer 'Streetlist', there is only one Gracious Lane in Great Britain, and it's about to get two new homes.

Housing developer Portman Homes is building the designer 4-bed detached properties, with funding from Secure Trust Bank Real Estate Finance (STB REF).

Set in their own 0.85 acre plots, the 2,288 sq ft contemporary houses boast roof terraces and uninterrupted views over open countryside.

Work will start on the Sevenoaks site in March, with completion set for April 2022. The homes will be priced at £1.65m and £1.75m each, giving the project a GDV of £3.4million.

Secure Trust Bank Real Estate Finance has advanced £1.92million to Portman Homes - which operates in London and the South East - to help get the development off the drawing board.

Steve Blake, managing director at Portman Homes, said: 'Gracious Lane is a unique address located minutes from Sevenoaks Hight Street and combining the best of Kent's countryside with easy access to London.

'This is the first time we have worked with Secure Trust Bank and its Real Estate Finance team has been highly supportive, agreeing a deal in just days, enabling us to get this project underway.'

Secure Trust Bank's real estate team provides lending facilities of £1m-£45m to residential and commercial property developers and investors, from SME housebuilders to UK-based funds. The bank has committed £100m specifically to assist SME housebuilders and property developers get their projects underway, with flexible loans of £1m - 5m.

Richard Nowell, a senior relationship director at STB REF's Reading office, said: 'Portman Homes are very well-regarded developers, known for delivering exceptional quality homes in in-demand locations. We're delighted to welcome them to the STB fold and look forward to working with them on future projects.'
