SECURITY NATIONAL CORPORATION SIOUX CITY, Iowa - Readers from across Siouxland have voted Security National Bank as the Top Bank, the Top Mortgage Lender and the Best Investment/Financial Firm in the region, according to the 2022 Siouxland's Choice Awards.
This is the third consecutive year that Security National's Wealth Management division was chosen No. 1 in the "Best Investment/Financial Firm" category, and second time in three years SNB was voted No. 1 in the "Best Bank/Credit Union" and "Best Mortgage" categories.
In addition, the Bank added runner-up finishes in two more categories: "Best Place to Work" and "Best Customer Service."
Contest results were released on Thursday, Feb. 24.
"It's an incredible honor that our customers are proud to call us their Bank. It matters to us," said Jeremy Craighead, President of Security National Bank. "It also speaks volumes about our employees' remarkable service, knowledge and commitment to the community."
This is just the latest community recognition that Security National Bank has received. The Bank has twice been named the United Way of Siouxland's "Major Business of the Year," among other awards.
The Siouxland's Choice Awards are an annual online voting contest established by the Sioux City Journal and Weekender publications to "select the best of everything Siouxland has to offer." Readers are asked to vote for their favorite local businesses and organizations in a number of categories.
To qualify, five finalists in each category were selected through a public nomination process, then voted upon during a contest period that lasted throughout the month of December. This year, the Journal reported more than 170,000 votes casted during the voting period.
