The company announced the promotion of Koichi Kubota as Director, senior managing executive officer from the current of director, managing executive officer; chief operating officer, Printing Solutions Operations Division. the company announced the retirement of Yoneharu Fukushima as director, managing executive officer; chief operating officer, Robotics Solutions Operations Division, due to expiry of term. The company announced the promotion of Motonori Okumura as Managing executive officer from the current position of general administrative manager, Technology Development Division; deputy chief operating officer, Wearable Products & Industrial Solutions Operations Segment; Junichi Watanabe as Managing executive officer from the current position of general administrative manager, Production Planning Division; deputy chief operating officer, Wearable Products & Industrial Solutions Operations Segment; and Hideki Shimada as Managing executive officer from the current position of deputy chief operating officer, Printing Solutions Operations Division; and retirement of Masayuki Kitamura executive officer, chief operating officer, Microdevices Operations Division. The company appointed Yasunori Ogawa as Executive officer from the current position of chief operating officer, Visual Products Operations Division; Eiichi Abe as Executive officer from the current position of president, P. T. Indonesia Epson Industry; Kazuhiro Ichikawa as Executive officer from the current position of deputy general administrative manager, Technology Development Division; general manager, PaperLab Business Project; general manager Core Device Technology Development Department; Keijiro Naito as Executive officer from the current position of deputy chief operating officer, Visual Products Operations Division. The reaseon for changes is Epson has implemented these changes with the aims of achieving its Epson 25 Corporate Vision and Mid-Range Business Plan (FY2016-18), and of further strengthening its corporate governance in the wake of last year's transition to a company with an Audit & Supervisory Committee.
