SEMBCORP INDUSTRIES' GROUP CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER TO STEP DOWN

Singapore, January 15, 2021 - Sembcorp Industries (Sembcorp) announces that Graham Cockroft, Group Chief Financial Officer, has decided to leave the company on February 28, 2021 to return home to New Zealand.

Ang Kong Hua, Chairman of Sembcorp said, "On behalf of the Board, I would like to express our appreciation for the contribution Graham has made to Sembcorp and wish him every success in the future."

Wong Kim Yin, Group President & CEO said, "A key member of the senior leadership team, Graham has contributed to the strategic development of Sembcorp over the last two and half years, and in particular to the demerger of the Marine business. On behalf of Sembcorp, I would like to wish him well, and success in his new ventures."

Mr Cockroft said, "I am privileged to have been part of Sembcorp's transformation journey. I believe that it is the right time for me to enter the next chapter of my career and I am looking forward to relocating back to New Zealand to be with family in these extraordinary times. I would like to thank my team for their outstanding support and look forward to seeing Sembcorp grow and deliver value to its stakeholders and communities."

The company is now working on bringing in Mr Cockroft's successor, and will make an announcement in due course.
