Britain's Senior Plc reports fall in half-year profit

(Reuters) - British aircraft parts maker Senior Plc posted on Monday a lower half-year profit, hurt by supply chain issues and rising costs.

The engineering firm, which supplies equipment to planemakers including Boeing and heavy equipment maker Caterpillar, said its profit before tax for the six months ended June 30 was 11.1 million pounds ($13.52 million), compared with 22.3 million pounds a year earlier.
