Sensata Technologies Holding Plc. said Tuesday that foreign currency rates will decrease revenue by about $76 million at the midpoint of this year.

The Attleboro, Mass. industrial company said FX will trim adjusted per-share earnings by around 11 cents in the same period.

The company said organic revenue increased 2.2% in the second quarter from a year earlier, excluding a 2.2% decrease from FX and an increase of 2.8% from acquisitions.

Sensata reported $1.02 billion in second quarter revenue, 2.8% higher than a year earlier.

FX decreased Sensata's adjusted per-share earnings by 5 cents in the second quarter, the company said.
