Boehringer Ingelheim entrusts the procurement of its graphics supplies and production to Service Point

  • Service Point's Print Management services will allow Boehringer Ingelheim to streamline and improve the reliability of its production flow of graphics supplies

  • The Print Management project will generate income of up to €1,500,000 for Service Point over the duration of the commercial agreement

    Barcelona, 21 July 2017 - The Spanish subsidiary of Service Point Solutions, S.A. (www.servicepoint.net), has signed a service agreement with Boehringer Ingelheim for a period of two years to provide Print Management services in the supply chain for the management of printed supplies for different areas in the pharmaceutical company.

    The operation will generate recurrent sales valued at potentially €1,500,000 over the duration of the commercial agreement. Service Point's Print Management technology, which is leading in Spain and internationally, will provide new value added services to the operations of Boehringer Ingelheim in Spain.

    The new process will provide Boehringer Ingelheim with procurement services, handling of different materials, access to the innovative success stories in the graphics sector and above all the versatility and traceability required by its marketing department for the proactivity of the team, which ensures global management of the different stages in the graphics process, from the consultancy, procurement, project tracking and delivery. The new project consists of:

  • Advising and working together with the different areas of marketing within Boehringer Ingelheim from the beginning of a project for the correct selection of paper, finishing, technologies, supports, implementation and delivery.

  • Obtaining the best price, due to the innovative and hybrid Print Management model 2.0 (own production and approval of a pool of suppliers according to different Price, quality and delivery criteria).

  • Working together and ensuring the whole operation, guaranteeing quality, processes, respecting the environment and the delivery of materials in accordance with the standards and conditions for storage.

As a whole, this system provides important benefits to Boehringer Ingelheim, improving its productivity and allowing it to focus even more on its core activity. In addition, the process is optimized with the application of the most modern technologies in Print Management, gaining reliability and improving quality control, as well as improved management of information.
