SFS Group AG (SWX:SFSN) agreed to acquire Moderne Befestigungs Elemente GmbH on December 20, 2019. mbe will remain based in Menden and it will become part of the Construction division within the Fastening Systems segment. The previous management will stay with the company throughout the transition period and thereby ensure the necessary continuity. The completion of the acquisition is subject to regulatory approvals and approval by competition authorities. Dr. Oliver Böttcher, Kristina Schneider, LL.M., Dr. Frank Baßler, Fabian G. Gaffron, Beatrice Stange, LL.M. and Christoph Hexel of Heuking Kühn Lüer Wojtek acted as legal advisors for Moderne Befestigungselemente GmbH.
