Shandong Sunpaper Co., Ltd. announced earnings results for the first quarter ended March 31, 2021. For the first quarter, the company announced sales was CNY 7,643.476 million compared to CNY 5,552.361 million a year ago. Operating income was CNY 1,336.025 million compared to CNY 627.806 million a year ago. Net income was CNY 1,107.996 million compared to CNY 536.015 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.42 compared to CNY 0.21 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was CNY 0.41 compared to CNY 0.19 a year ago.
SHANDONG SUN PAPER CO., LTD., formerly SHAN DONG SUN PAPER INDUSTRY JOINT STOCK CO., LTD., is a China-based company, principally engaged in the paper making business. The Company's main products include non-coated cultural paper, coated paper, household paper, laminating base paper and kraft paperboards. Its coated packaging paper boards are mainly applied in cigarette and liquor packaging, as well as home appliance packaging. The Company is also engaged in the generation and distribution of electric power, as well as the manufacturing and sale of steam, chemical-mechanical pulps and dissolving pulps.
