Shanghai Pudong International Airport held a number of activities for its young passengers on June 1 to celebrate International Children's Day.

Staff at the airport dressed as 'Black Cat Police Chief' and 'Pink Panther', which are well-known Chinese cartoon characters, to interact with children.

Kids were also given free stickers and card sleeves at 17 public service desks including the inquiry desk, passenger information center, left luggage office and lost and found office.

Meanwhile, Pudong Airport has improved many service facilities which are popular with children to welcome the coming 'family trip' boom this summer.

The airport now provides 50 baby strollers for its passengers, as well as a baby care rooms in the waiting hall.

There are four new motion sensing games at the check-in hall in Terminal 2, and a children's play area at the waiting hall is open to children under 12 years of age for free.
