Shanghai Electric Carrier Energy Co., Ltd. announced a private placement of common shares for gross proceeds of CNY 5,000,000 on March 27, 2018. The transaction will include participation from returning investors, Shanghai Mechanical & Electrical Industry Co., Ltd. (SHSE:600835) for CNY 3,050,000 and Carrier Asia Limited for CNY 1,950,000 to retain their respective stakes in the company. The registered capital of the company will increase from CNY 20,000,000 to CNY 25,000,000. The transaction has been approved by the shareholders of the company and board of directors of the Shanghai Mechanical & Electrical Industry Co., Ltd. (SHSE:600835) at its 25th meeting of the 8th directorate.
Shanghai Mechanical & Electrical Industry Co., Ltd. is principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of mechanical and electrical equipment. The Company provides lifts and escalators, printing and packaging machines, refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, welding equipment, engineering machineries, wood-based panel machineries, energy engineering, hydraulic and pneumatic products and electrical equipment. The Company distributes its products within domestic market and to overseas markets.
