SHOPRITE HOLDINGS LTD The Shoprite Group honoured the life and legacy of Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Mpilo Tutu this morning by singing 'Amazing Grace' in our stores.
The Archbishop was a beacon of hope in our nation and a voice to the vulnerable in our society. His passing is a deep loss to the people of South Africa. His legacy will reverberate long after his passing and his life will continue to be a mirror and example to the people of South Africa and the world for generations to come.
As the Shoprite Group, we wanted to pay tribute to the Archbishop for his immense contribution and the legacy he leaves behind. May his spirit of compassion and kindness live on through all of us.
