Shurgard signs a purchase agreement in Düsseldorf (Germany)

LUXEMBOURG - Shurgard, the largest developer, owner and operator of self-storage centers in Europe - has signed a purchase agreement for a building in Düsseldorf. Shurgard has also received a building permit for this property early January 2021.

The future c. 4,500 sqm self-storage property is set to open by end 2021 and will offer approximately 650 self-storage units to the Düsseldorf area.

After the successful completion of this project, Shurgard will be offering self-storage in 24 properties in Germany, more particularly 12 properties in the North Rhine-Westphalia region of which three in Düsseldorf.
