As per section 226 of the restated text of the Securities Market Law (texto refundido de la Ley del Mercado de Valores), approved by the Royal Legislative Decree 4/2015, of 23 October, and related provisions, the Company announces the following inside information:
The rating agency Standard&Poors has upgraded the credit rating of Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, S.A. (SGRE) to BBB outlook stable from BBB- outlook positive in order to equalize the rating on SGRE with the ratings on its controlling shareholder Siemens Energy AG (SE). Standard&Poors views SGRE as a core subsidiary and in consequence the rating on SGRE will move in tandem with the rating on SE.
