INSIDE INFORMATION

As per section 226 of the restated text of the Securities Market Law (texto refundido de la Ley del Mercado de Valores), approved by the Royal Legislative Decree 4/2015, of 23 October, and related provisions, the Company announces the following inside information:

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, S.A., through one its affiliates, has received the firm order for supplying wind turbines to RWE for the Sofia offshore wind power plant, located 195 kilometers off the United Kingdom's north eastern coast in to the North Sea, with a total capacity of 1,400 MW.

This firm order is related with the Other Relevant Information sent on June 22, 2020 to the Spanish Stock Market Commission (Comisión Nacional del Mercado de Valores) (registration number 2931), informing that Siemens Gamesa received a conditional order for the supply of wind turbines to Innogy (Innogy has merged with RWE) for the aforementioned wind farm in the coast of the United Kingdom.

The firm order encompasses the supply of 100 SG 14-222 DD offshore wind turbines and a 2- year service and maintenance agreement. The wind turbines installation is expected to begin in 2025.
