Siemens Gamesa to Supply Turbines for Oersted's German Offshore Project

Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SA said Monday that it has received an order for the supply of wind turbines from Oersted AS for a project offshore Germany.

The Spanish wind-turbine maker said it will install 23 units of its SG 11.0-200 DD turbines at the Gode Wind 3 offshore development. The contract includes a five-year service agreement.

The 242-megawatts wind power plant is expected to be fully commissioned in 2024, according to the company. The preferred supplier agreement between Siemens Gamesa and Oersted for Gode Wind 3 was announced in March 2020.
