Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy SA said Wednesday that it has received an order to supply turbines with a total capacity of 301 megawatts to the consortium between Nareva and Enel Green Power for a wind farm in South Morocco.

The Spanish company said the order, which runs through one of its affiliates, includes the supply, transport, installation, commissioning and testing of 87 units of SG 3.4-132 wind turbine and a 5-year service agreement. The project is expected to be commissioned by the third quarter of 2022.

The Boujdour wind farm was awarded to the consortium in 2016 as part of a 850-magawatts tender in Morocco, according to the company.
