SIF Banat Crisana : Financial Results for Q3 2017

Main financial and operational indicators for SIF Banat-Crișana as at September 30, 2017:

• Net asset value: RON 2,299.96 mn
• Total assets value: RON2,321.34 mn (calculated as per ASF regulations)
• Net profit: RON 55.26 mn
• Market capitalization: RON 1,375 mn

Net asset value, the main performance indicator for the company, had a positive progress during the first nine months of 2017, recording a 19.76% increase as compared to the value reported for the end of 2016. Thus, the net asset value (NAV) reached RON 2,299.96 mn, and the unit net asset value per share (NAV/S) increased to RON4.4447 at the end of Q3 2017.

Income as at September 30, 2017 reached RON 67.61 mn, below the same period of the previous year, when significant non-recurring dividend income were recorded.

Expenses as at September 30, 2017, amounting to RON 9.56 mn, are below those for the same period of 2016, mostly due to the reduction of operational expenses.

Net profit as at September 30, 2017, amounting to RON 55.26 mn, is inferior to the result for the cumulated result for the first three quarters of 2016, due to the lower income recorded.

The company strengthened its position as a constituent of BVB indices, with a market capitalization that rose to RON 1,375 mn at the end of Q3, 2017 (calculated using the closing price for all the issued shares).

The SIF1 share price also rose significantly during the first nine months of 2017, from RON 1.8600 on the first trading day of the year to RON 2.5050 at the end of Q3 2017, i.e. a growth of 34.68%.
