Dermot Smurfit, Ross George and others agreed to acquire Whakatane Mill Limited from SIG Combibloc Group AG (SWX:SIGN) on May 31, 2021. All senior management of Whakatane Mill Limited will remain with the new owners. Ian Halliday will become Chairman of the Whakatane Mill Limited.
