WiZ's Matter-upgradable new products will hit the shelves from September 2021.

Making smart home onboarding even simpler

WiZ was the first smart lighting provider to adopt both WiFi and Bluetooth, for easier pairing and better connectivity. The daily, intuitive smart lighting brand is already anticipating the required changes to their new products to ensure they are ready to undergo a software upgrade as soon as Matter is launched by the Connectivity Standards Alliance. As one of the first smart home brands to anticipate this new industry-unifying standard in its new products, the brand demonstrates its commitment to offering all consumers an accessible plug-and-play setup, intuitive smart control and seamless interoperability between all WiZ connected lights and other smart devices.

With WiZ's Matter-upgradable products, consumers will be prepared to connect the individual product to any other interoperable smart device.

Rapid adoption of the latest smart home innovation

September 2021 marks a milestone for the smart lighting brand - when all new WiZ product introductions will be Matter-upgradable. In the first half of 2022, WiZ expects its full product portfolio, including existing light bulbs, strip lights, downlights, lamps and other devices, to have the Matter seal of approval on the packaging and be compatible straight from the box.
