Signify NV said Tuesday that it will install 15 Philips Electronics Ltd. UV-C disinfection lights in Philips Stadium and Campus de Herdgang, which both belong to the soccer club PSV Eindhoven.

The Dutch lighting company said these disinfection lights inactivate the virus that causes the coronavirus pandemic.

"UV-C lighting helps to disinfect air, surfaces, objects and spaces fast, efficient and effective," said Hellen van der Plas, market leader of Signify's operations in the Benelux.
