The Board of Directors of Silverlake Axis Ltd. (‘SAL’ or the ‘Group’) announced that the Group has secured contracts to deliver innovative and transformative digital innovation enhancement solutions to 25 of their existing customers and 2 new customers during the second quarter of financial period ended 31 December 2020. The contracts are signed with 5 large regional banking franchises in Asean, 5 local banks and 2 government linked companies and a financial service provider in Malaysia, 3 banks in Thailand, a bank in United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, Europe, China and Pakistan respectively, a large commercial bank in Slovakia, an international trade financing company, an Asian financial service provider, a company in Portugal, a company in Thailand and a prescription pharmacy chain in Malaysia. The contracts are primarily for enhancements to existing core banking system and to enhance customers' digital experience and are expected to be completed within 12 to 18 months from the signing of the contracts. The Group's software solutions and services deployed for these contracts are from its subsidiaries, namely Silverlake Axis MSC Sdn Bhd, Silverlake Digitale Sdn Bhd, Silverlake Structured Services Ltd, Silverlakegroup Pte Ltd, Silverlake Structured Services Sdn Bhd, Symmetric Payments & Integration Sdn Bhd, Silverlake Symmetri (Singapore) Pte Ltd, Silverlake Symmetri (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd, SIA X Infotech, QR Agoracloud Sdn Bhd and Cyber Village Sdn Bhd. The contracts have an aggregate value of approximately Malaysian Ringgit 75million and is expected to contribute positively to the results of SAL in the current and following financial years. Pursuant to the confidentiality clause stipulated in the contracts, no further details of the contracts will be disclosed. None of the directors or substantial shareholders of SAL has any interest, directly or indirectly, in the above contracts other than through their respective shareholdings in SAL.
