Sime Darby Plantation Berhad is a Malaysia-based globally integrated plantation company. The Company operates through five segments: Upstream Malaysia, Upstream Indonesia, Upstream Papua New Guinea, and Solomon Islands (PNG/SI), Downstream and Other operations. Upstream Malaysia segment is engaged in the developing, cultivating and managing oil palm and rubber plantation estates and milling of fresh fruit bunches (FFB) into crude palm oil (CPO) and palm kernel (PK). Upstream Indonesia segment is engaged in the developing, cultivating and managing oil palm plantation estates and milling of FFB into CPO and PK. PNG/SI segment is engaged in the developing, cultivating and managing oil palm and sugar cane plantation estates, milling of FFB into CPO and PK. Downstream segment is engaged in the production and sales of refined oils and fats sales of CPO, and others. Other operations segment is engaged in the other operations including trading of agricultural products and services and others.
