Sinclair Broadcast Group Inc. on Wednesday said its FOX regional sports networks will disappear from YouTube TV after it was unable to reach a distribution deal with the streaming service owned by Alphabet Inc.'s Google unit.

The Hunt Valley, Md., media company, which acquired the regional sports networks from Walt Disney Co. late last year., said the networks will no longer be available on YouTube TV starting Thursday, and that subscribers will lose access to any previous recordings from the networks.

Sinclair said it remains in talks with YouTube TV in a bid to find a mutually acceptable path to restoring the networks to the streaming service.

Shares of Sinclair were recently down 1.9% to $19.69.
