Singer Finance Lanka : Debenture issue oversubscribed

Singer Finance (Lanka) PLC received a strong vote of confidence from investors with its recent Listed Rated Unsecured Senior Redeemable three year and five year, Rs. 1 billion debenture issue being oversubscribed.

The subscription list closed on Wednesday, May 13. This Debenture issue is rated BBB (lka) by Fitch Ratings Lanka Limited. The par value of the debenture is Rs. 100. The minimum subscription per application was Rs. 10,000 (100 Debentures), the company said in a statement.

The Companyâs products include fixed deposit, savings accounts, online banking, debit card, leasing, gold loans, factoring, consumer finance, foreign currency exchange and western union. The Company's online services include facility payments, online banking, real-time payment update, short message service (SMS) alert on payment update, security and convenience and quick access. The Company operates through 50 branches. The Company is a subsidiary of Singer (Sri Lanka) PLC, which is a manufacturer and retailer of consumer durables and part of the Hayleys Group.
