Ravenna, 1 October 2020 - Sirio S.p.A (AIM: SIO), a leading Italian company in the management of commercial catering in the hospital sector, announces that following the Half-Year Report approved by the Board of Directors of Sirio S.p.A. BDO Italia S.p.A. -the company appointed to carry out the statutory audit of the accounts on 30 September 2020- sent the Statutory Audit Report on half-year financial statements as of 30 June 2020, declaring the impossibility of expressing a conclusion on the Report itself due to not being able to conclude the execution of the limited audit procedures planned for that purpose.

Sirio S.p.A. despite the well-known difficulties created by the Covid-19 pandemic in carrying out the activities necessary to ensure the statutory auditing company documents and information useful for the exercise of his office, specifies that It has approved the aforementioned half-yearly financial statements within the deadline set by the regulations and to have worked with commitment and determination to allow compliance with this deadline also by the auditing company, in relation to which it reaffirms its broadest willingness to continue to collaborate, even with a supplementary commitment to provide additional evidence, in the within the scope of their respective competences and within the limits of the limited nature of the interim audit.
