SITC International : Expressed Thanks to China Shipowners' Association

In recent years, as an important non-governmental organization in shipping market operations, China Shipowners' Association has played an important role in coordinating the main players in the shipping market under the leadership of the president and the executive vice president Zhang Shouguo. Especially since the outbreak of the new crown epidemic, China Shipowners' Association has coordinated relevant departments to assist shipping companies in successfully completing seafarer shifts, and arranged for crews to be vaccinated as soon as possible. Eliminate hidden safety hazards for ships and pave the way for seafarers to reunite their families. The comrades of the association patiently answered and provided guidance to seafarers' questions, and spared no effort to provide services to shipping companies.

For this reason, on September 16, 2021, Tian Mingyuan, General Manager of SITC Ship Management, and Jiang Feng, Chief Captain of SITC Ship Management(Shanghai), and others, on behalf of SITC International, sent a letter of thanks and Mid-Autumn Festival condolences to China Shipowners' Association. Zhang Shouguo, Executive Vice President of CSA, Secretary-General Li Wanjin, Executive Deputy Secretary-General Wang Siyong, Deputy Secretary-General Qin Huanfu, and Deputy Secretary-General Huang Shu participated in the talks. On behalf of the CSA, Executive Vice President Zhang Shouguo, put forward valuable suggestions and cooperation requirements for SITC: strengthen crew training, improve crew safety awareness, and provide case materials to the association; for the Chinese crew collective agreement, enterprises can put forward positive suggestions for the association to submit to the National Federation of Trade Unions Discuss revisions; good measures and suggestions can be put forward regarding crew salaries; attention should be paid to the mental health of crew members and the psychological counseling of crew members should be strengthened; as a company, it is necessary to strengthen industry self-discipline and abide by industry rules, and make long-term plans for corporate development.

SITC International will continue to support the work of CSA, and in accordance with the requirements of CSA, contribute to the construction of the Shanghai International Shipping Center, and work with CSA to contribute to the healthy development of shipping!
