SiteOne Landscape Supply, Inc. announced earnings results for the second quarter ended July 4, 2021. For the second quarter, the company announced sales was USD 1,083.9 million compared to USD 817.7 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 164.6 million compared to USD 112.3 million a year ago. Net income was USD 123.5 million compared to USD 79.1 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.77 compared to USD 1.89 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.7 compared to USD 1.83 a year ago. For the half year, sales was USD 1,734.1 million compared to USD 1,277.5 million a year ago. Operating income was USD 175 million compared to USD 89 million a year ago. Net income was USD 130.9 million compared to USD 61.6 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.95 compared to USD 1.47 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 2.86 compared to USD 1.43 a year ago.
SiteOne Landscape Supply, Inc. is a wholesale distributor of landscape supplies in the United States and has a growing presence in Canada. Its customers are primarily residential and commercial landscape professionals who specialize in the design, installation, and maintenance of lawns, gardens, golf courses, and other outdoor spaces. The Company offers a comprehensive selection of approximately 160,000 stock keeping units (SKUs) including irrigation supplies, fertilizer, and control products (herbicides), hardscapes (including pavers, natural stone, and blocks), landscape accessories, nursery goods, outdoor lighting, and ice melt products to green industry professionals. It also provides value-added consultative services, which include assistance with irrigation project take-offs, commercial project planning, generation of sales leads, business operations, and product support services, as well as a series of technical and business management seminars.
