Formigine, 3rd December 2018 - SITI B&T Group S.p.A., a manufacturer of complete systems for tiles and sanitary ware, listed on the AIM Italia market (Ticker: SITI), has inaugurated a new branch in Russia. The Russian market is of great interest for the ceramic sector, and SITI B&T Group intends to closely monitor it. Already previously active with a representative office in Moscow, the B&T Group has now decided to strengthen its presence in order to better serve its customers. A real branch that will take care of Customer Service in all its forms.

'Another important step to implement our international network - comments Fabio Tarozzi, Chairman and CEO of SITI B&T Group - that fully fits our strategy based on investments in Research & Development and a direct presence in all major ceramic markets worldwide. By supporting our customers in dealing with everyday problems, we intend to offer qualified assistance throughout the entire life cycle of the plant, ensuring its proper operation (through spare parts, maintenance and assistance) and thus creating a real competitive advantage for users of our technology '.

SITI B&T Group already has some dozens of complete plants in Russia, built and installed in the last ten years with leading ceramic producers, both for the production of tiles and sanitary ware, covering the Group's entire technological range (in addition to SITI-B&T, also Projecta Engineering, Digital Design, Ancora, B & T White).

It is therefore a major catchment area, which requires an appropriate level of after-sales technical assistance, with a sharp reduction in response time, thanks to a dedicated spare parts warehouse.

In the world ranking of the main ceramic tile producing countries, Russia comes in 13th, with a production that amounted to 169 million square meters in 2017. With 194 million square meters marketed, Russia is instead 11th in the ranking of the largest ceramic tile consumers (source: ACIMAC Research Dept. 'World production and consumption of ceramic tiles' 6th edition 2018).
