SEB has recruited Gustav Radell as new Global Marketing Director. He is currently Head of Consumer & Brand Marketing Northern Europe at Google.

Through my experience, I hope to be able to contribute to the already strong team at SEB and its ability to earn customer trust, by driving efforts to build a bank for today's bank customers with tomorrow's technology,' says Gustav Radell.

With over 12 years at Google, Gustav Radell has helped build the company's presence and strategy in Northern Europe. He has built Google's product portfolio from the ground up with launches such as Android, YouTube and Google Maps. Today, he is responsible for marketing all of Google's consumer products in Northern Europe and is also Google's Country Marketing Manager in Sweden. Gustav Radell was named one of 101 Super Talents by Swedish business weekly Veckans Affärer in 2015. He is also a member of Interflora's Board of Directors.

Gustav Radell will report to Sara Öhrvall, Chief Digital, Customer Experience and Communications Officer at SEB. 'Gustav is an important recruitment for the ongoing transformation of our marketing and communications unit and I am very pleased to welcome him to our team. With his experience of using the latest technology to build strong brands in several markets and successful product launches, he will become a fantastic asset in the work to secure SEB's future.'
