2. Reasons
The Company's basic policy is to continue to pay dividends to shareholders targeting 30% of its Adjusted Net Income while securing internal reserves in preparation for future business development and capital investment for improving corporate value.
Regarding the interim dividend for shareholders as of June 30, 2021, the Company had announced that the payment of an interim dividend had not yet been determined on May 14, 2021, but has decided today not to pay an interim dividend due to the recording of a net loss for the first quarter of 2021 and in consideration of the extension of the third State of Emergency for COVID-19 which has contributed to an operating environment in which it may be difficult for the Company to significantly improve business performance before the end of the second quarter of 2021.
With respect to the payment of a year-end dividend, the Company has not yet made any decisions but will make an announcement once the matter has been decided.
