Skyworks Solutions, Inc. reported earnings results for the fourth quarter and full year ended September 30, 2022. For the fourth quarter, the company reported sales was USD 1,407 million compared to USD 1,310.9 million a year ago. Net income was USD 302.2 million compared to USD 326.3 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.88 compared to USD 1.97 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 1.88 compared to USD 1.95 a year ago.
For the full year, sales was USD 5,485.5 million compared to USD 5,109.1 million a year ago. Net income was USD 1,275.2 million compared to USD 1,498.3 million a year ago. Basic earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 7.85 compared to USD 9.07 a year ago. Diluted earnings per share from continuing operations was USD 7.81 compared to USD 8.97 a year ago.
Skyworks Solutions, Inc. specializes in the development, sales and marketing of high-performance, mixed signal semi-conductors. The products are designed for use in the following sectors: consumer electronics, IT, mobile communication systems and network infrastructures. Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: the United States (75.5%), China (7.5%), Taiwan (7.2%), South Korea (4.2%), Asia/Pacific (1.3%) and Europe/Middle East/Africa (4.3%).
