An unknown buyer entered into an agreement to acquire Office Property at 1 Eva Road in Toronto, Ontario from Slate Office REIT (TSX:SOT.UN) for CAD 34 million on September 2, 2021. This transaction remains subject to customary closing conditions and is expected to be completed in the third quarter of 2021. Slate Office REIT will allocate net proceeds of approximately CAD 20.7 million toward future accretive investment opportunities, of which the Slate Office REIT has a significant pipeline. Redeploying net proceeds from Office Property at 1 Eva Road yielding 2.3% will allow the Slate Office REIT to drive immediate accretion for unitholders.
