Abridged statement of profit or loss1
Net Sales
- Drop in net sales is entirely COVID-19 related.
- Major differences between segments:
- Catering, events and hospitality were hit hard; - Healthcare and petrol were not hit as hard.
- Drop in net sales was € 0.5 billion, not including the acquisition of 'De Kweker' and the increase in tobacco sales.
- 5 extra days due to leap year and financial calendar change, impact of approx. € 20 million.
- Ratio of DS/C&C: 43% / 57% (2019: 32% / 68%).
