On February 17, 2021, SM Energy Company (the "Company") issued a press release
announcing its fourth quarter and full year 2020 financial and operating
results, year-end 2020 reserves, and the Company's 2021 operating plan. As
indicated in the press release, the Company has posted a pre-recorded webcast
discussion, a written transcript of the webcast, and an associated investor
presentation to its website at ir.sm-energy.com, in conjunction with the
release. In addition, the Company scheduled a conference call for February 18,
2021, at 8:00 a.m. Mountain time/10:00 a.m. Eastern time to answer questions.
The conference call is publicly accessible via telephone and webcast (available
live and for replay), and the press release includes instructions for dialing in
to the call or accessing via the Company's website. A replay of the call will be
available on the Company's website beginning approximately one hour after the
call until February 25, 2021. Availability of the pre-recorded call, slides,
transcript, and call replay posted on the Company's website is at the Company's
discretion and may be discontinued at any time. A copy of the press release is
furnished as Exhibit 99.1 to this report and incorporated by reference herein.
