SMCP (Sandro, Maje, Claudie Pierlot) announces the appointment of Ida Simonsen as CEO of the North America region, succeeding Paul Griffin who has decided to pursue his career outside the accessible luxury brand group.

Previously, Ida Simonsen was President of the Americas region for Stella McCartney for over 12 years, where she played a crucial role in expanding the brand's retail and wholesale presence in the United States, Canada and Mexico.

She guided Stella McCartney through major transitions, including the change of ownership from Kering to LVMH, and also contributed to the growth of the brand's distribution network in the Americas.

SMCP S.A specializes in the design and marketing of men and women's luxury clothing and accessories. The products are sold under Sandro (48.9% of net sales), Maje (37.6%), Claudie Pierlot and Fursac (13.5%). Net sales break down by activity as follows: - sales in company-owned stores (29.8%); - sales in department store corners (29.3%); - online sales (17.5%); - sales in outlet stores (12.9%); - sales to local partners (8.3%); - sales to affiliated stores (2.2%). Products are fabricated by subcontractors. At the end of 2023, the products were marketed through a network of 1,730 stores worldwide (including 1,373 company-owned stores) and via the Internet. Net sales are distributed geographically as follows: France (33.6%), Europe/Middle East/Africa (31.6%), Asia/Pacific (20.7%) and Americas (14.1%).
