SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (AP) _ American Outdoor Brands Co. (AOBC) on Thursday reported fiscal third-quarter net income of $5.7 million, after reporting a loss in the same period a year earlier.

On a per-share basis, the Springfield, Massachusetts-based company said it had profit of 10 cents. Earnings, adjusted for one-time gains and costs, were 13 cents per share.

The firearm maker posted revenue of $166.7 million in the period.

For the current quarter ending in April, American Outdoor Brands expects its per-share earnings to range from 33 cents to 37 cents.

The company said it expects revenue in the range of $205 million to $215 million for the fiscal fourth quarter.

American Outdoor Brands expects full-year earnings in the range of 58 cents to 62 cents per share, with revenue ranging from $650 million to $660 million.

American Outdoor Brands shares have increased 12% since the beginning of the year. In the final minutes of trading on Thursday, shares hit $10.43, a drop of slightly more than 8% in the last 12 months.
