Smiths Group PLC - London-based engineering company operating in the energy, industrial, security and aerospace sectors - Appoints the chief executive officer of London-based global product and service solutions provider for industrial customers RS Group PLC, Simon Pryce, to its board as non-executive director from February 1. Smiths Group Chair Steve Williams says: "Simon is a highly experienced business leader of customer focused, global, industrial manufacturing and service businesses, with a strong track record of value creation. He has held several chief executive officer positions at listed companies, with experience that is directly relevant to Smiths Group's key end markets, customers and supply chains. His experience will enhance the Board's discussions as we look to accelerate our growth strategy."
